University co-created a rechargeable battery, a servicing cost-free photo voltaic battery comprised of skinny movie. Simply because it truly is manufactured of all strong components, there is no danger of fluid spilling or exploding which was a issue with standard liquid kind batteries. It really is a lot safer to take care of and it can be folded. The skinny movie rechargeable battery has a thickness of a number of nano meters. This form is considerably thinner and lighter in weight than a polymer battery which is currently regarded the thinnest battery with a thickness of a number of nanometers. Not only is it thinner, it can resist high temperature temperature of up to a 120 degrees Celsius and allows reliable reuse of more than 10000 instances of cost and discharge. © DigInfo (motion picture.diginfo.tv

My first attempt at polymer, I got a lot of my ideas from online photos and copied stuff I thought was really cute. Can you believe people sell this stuff for an arm and a leg!? It’s way more fun to make it your self, but if any of you YouTubers out there want me to make something for you, it would be my pleasure, I work cheap! Cheers! The following not about what is a polymer ,But meaningfulA boaster and a liar are cousins-german.A friend is never known till a man has need. There should be a better way to start a day than waking up every morning. Birth is much, but breeding is more..Don’t claim to know what you don’t know.。！！
Q&A–: What glue would you use to stick polymer clay to a metal tray?
I made a really cute wall-hanging for a kitchen by crafting pretend cookies out of polymer clay and gluing them to a metal baking sheet. I used e6000 glue which fell apart right away. What is the best glue to use if I want this to be permanent? Also, what glue would you use to attach a metal hanging hook to the back of the tray? (The first time I glued it, I forgot to sand off the no stick teflon from the cookie sheet. This time I would sand the tray before gluing, but first I need to figure out the most permanent gluing option.) Thanks so much!

The following is the answer: (Hint: The reader is not the correct identification.)

Answer by toocan
some sort of polymer metal clay type adhesive

Answer by frozenfun
Epoxy….or perhaps Liquid Nails..

Answer by henry c
try this site, there is crafters pick the ultimate glue
http://www.clayalley.com/tools.htm

Answer by Robert S
Try Barge Cement. It’s a contact type adhesive and is very strong once it is set. Follow the label instructions – i.e. put a thin film of adhesive on both parts and let them sit for about 15 min. before you put them together. Once you do this there is no going back, so get it right the first time. It’s available locally (that I know of) through Tandy Leather Co., probably other places as well.

Robert

Answer by Candee Graham
Cute idea with the cookies and tray!!

Rhino Glue

http://rhinoglue.com/uses.html

I have had very good, permanent results from this glue!
It is money well spent! I have glued glass together, vinyl to glass, a very porous pumice type stone that broke in half and is used for “rubbing cement block”. And it is holding together fine. I even glued my toilet paper dispenser to the wall (crazy huh?), for years I have tried many options to fasten it tight to the wall. You know one side is secure in the wood stud, and the other side flopping around. Poor soul that has to remove this dispenser now that I fixed it with Rhino glue.
I am sure Rhino Glue will work on your cookies to tray, and many other household fixes. Good Luck with your crafting endeavors!

Answer by Diane B.
I would also perhaps suggest a 2-part epoxy glue, or perhaps a polyurethane glue (like Gorilla Glue –be aware that it swells though), for the greatest bond since they both work on many materials.

There are probably other tube glues that say on their packages that they work specifically for metal though (although you might also want one of those that’s also “flexible” when dry).

Whichever you use, be sure to prepare the surface and apply the glue exactly as they recommend though (and you might also want to avoid stressing the bond for a few days until the final “cure” is complete).
Also, make sure the glue is fairly heat resistant if you’re using the tray anywhere it could heat up —E6000, for example, can fail if it’s heated sufficiently and the object it’s holding is in a position where it could slide with gravity, etc.

As for polymer clay, there are a load of adhesives that can be used with it under different circumstances… most are discussed on this page at my website, if you want to check it out too:

http://glassattic.com/polymer/glues-Diluent.htm

Good luck!

Diane B.

Question–: What is the work done by inserting the polymer material?
A capacitor has two square parallel plates 5.0 cm wide, separated by 1 mm of air. It is initially charged to a potential difference of 600 V, then disconnected from the voltage source. A square piece of polymer (K=2) of same width of 5.0 cm and thickness 1.0 mm is inserted in the space between the plates. ******answer is -1.9E-6 J******** I cannot figure out how to get this please explain

The following is the answer: (Hint: The answer is not necessarily.)

Answer by billrussell42
Parallel plate cap
C = ε₀εᵣ(A/d) in Farads
ε₀ is 8.854e-12 F/m
εᵣ is dielectric constant (vacuum = 1)
A and d are area of plate in m² and separation in m
or C = ε₀εᵣ(A/d) in pF, ε₀ is 8.854

E = ½CV² = ½QV = ½Q²/C Energy in a cap in Joules

Initial C = (8.854e-12)(25e-4) / (1e-3) = 22.1e-12 or 22.1 pF
Q = CV = 22.1 pF x 600 = 13.28 nC

final C = 2x initial = 44.2 pF
charge remains the same
V = Q/C = 300 volts

Initial energy = ½CV² = ½(22.1p)(600)² = 3.98e-6 J
final energy = ½(44.2p)(300)² = 1.99e-6 J

subtract the two to get 1.99 e-6 J

The answer in the following: (Hint: The answer is not necessarily.)

Answer by Snookie
not really.. gfx card sucks.. although min. req is 128mb.
everything else is ok though..

Answer by Erik H
Short answer: no.
Long answer: absolutely not.

First of all, it’s a mac. macs are not made for gaming. they are made for, uh, nothing. You cannot install games onto mac os.
Graphics card sucks, processor is underpowered, hdd is slow.

Answer by dee
That pc is ok but not the greatest, but you will have to upgrade your video card and install more memory.

Answer by Atlanta
it should do fine with gaming….might want to upgrade your graphics card will run alot better

Answer by onizuka_90
I guess. Most Laptops are good for gaming, just needs a good video card and it runs smooth on the internet. You should be set.

Answer by Blake S
I have a Windows XP computer that has little memory and a sucky Graphics card. But I have found out this cool site where you can play NES, Colecovision, and Atari games for free at download. It doesn’t take up any large amount of memory, and you should try it at ConsoleClassix.com

Answer by Phoenix
NO,
unless by gaming you mean 2D games, very very simple 3D games or 2~3 year old 3D games. It will NOT run any new 3D first person shooters or simulation type games.

Intel GMA X3100 is the WORST card you can buy these days in a Core 2 Duo based notebook. For games the MOST IMPORTANT thing is the graphics card. CPU, RAM or another component can’t make up for a crappy graphics card like the GMA 3100.

Also noticed that its a MAC, this is the absolute worst combo you can pick for games (MAC with a X3100).

p.s : YOU CANNOT UPGRADE THE GRAPHICS CARD !! Just to clarify some misleading recommendations given above by *Atlanta* and *Dee*

Answer by Ericson M
For Vista, get at least 2 GB RAM / 256MB Video RAM and make sure it’s certified. If you can afford, get 3GB RAM / 384MB VRAM …then Vista should rock your socks. If you learn how to use it, Vista features and technology blows XP away…when it works fast. You want it to last so get 64-bit Vista Home Premium or Ultimate. It’s mega-fast with 64-bit apps as well as lets you upgrade > 4GB TOTAL RAM (system RAM + graphics card + other devices). 64-bit is more secure from viruses. 64-bit also requires “MS approved” (a.k.a. digitally signed) drivers so this “might” help with hardware compatibility, etc. This is MS’s way of trying to get everyone to “move on” if they are able to.

http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/04/differences-and-advantages-between-32-bit-x86-vs-64-bit-x64-windows-vista/#comment-521742

But if you have old programs, they might not work (esp. with 64-bit version). Google “Vista compatibility list”. Knowing a bit about computers helps getting the old problematic ones to work (Internet has a lot of solutions that smart people share).

Ultimate is the best but if you don’t think you need anything that fancy, Home Premium is good too. Get a good video card if you want Aero graphics (at least 256MB 128-bit in the newer cards)… better if you can afford. Vista technology distributes more graphics processing to the video card and relieves the CPU for other things. Therefore, a good video card will make Vista work better.

Vista uses extra RAM to store commonly used files in a new activity known as “disk caching” (SuperFetch). The computer uses artificial intelligence to determine which files will be used most and copies it to RAM (where it is much faster than accessing your hard disk). This includes components of the programs you use on a regular basis. When you need more RAM for programs you launch, etc. the computer purges the “least likely used” files from RAM to make room for the new program. That’s why if you look at the performance monitor, Vista always has near zero “free” RAM. So in theory, the more RAM (for disk cache) you have, the faster your computer will operate. This can also be augmented (to a lesser effect) with a flash drive/card with a technology called ReadyBoost. Just stick it in and select “Speed up my system” and leave it there. Google “AnandTech ReadyBoost Performance” for basic test examples.

http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/window-on-windows/?p=735

High RAM will be especially helpful for those people who like to leave all their windows open and use Vista’s “S3 sleep mode” (2 watts) so they can resume where they left off almost immediately after they turn their computers on.

Vista Home Premium and Ultimate has Windows Media Center, where with a TV card/USB adapter (if not integrated) of the type that fits your TV/Cable, acts similar to TiVo. You can play your videos, schedule recordings, etc. You can get a wireless keyboard / mouse or gyro-mouse and it will be sort of like remote control. If you do this, get a big Hard Disk.

MS Office productivity software works best on Windows. The Mac version is really nerfed and doesn’t have new features like Office Ribbon interface, Mini Toolbars, and Live Preview, among a large list. There are also less individual titles in the Mac version.

Vista supports touch-screens and voice recognition if you’re into note-taking and dictation. A good program to use with this is OneNote, which is included in some Office editions.

Deals of America and Tech Bargains catch good deals on HP and Dell’s and sometimes you can get like $ 500 off! XPBargains has deals and coupons on Tablet PC’s!

Unless you are an artist, most Universities (and programs) as well as the rest of the world use Windows. WinMacs are popular but for the price, Macs don’t run Windows as well as other brands, but sometimes it doesn’t really matter that much to most users. In addition some just want it for fashion and like them to match their iPods.

Here are some statistics to put it into perspective.

http://marketshare.hitslink.com/

Note that these “internet traffic statistics” actually miss a lot of Windows PC usage because many are used for work and do not surf the internet much (if at all). Thus the Windows PC’s out there may be even MORE than the representation on the charts!

Macs are durable because many have an accelerometer in there that can “increase the chance” of saving your hard drive when you drop it. Like those used in airbags. The power cord is also magnetically attached so it reduces the chance that you yank it off the table.

OSXMacs can exclusively install Final Cut Pro (which is good for media work). Adobe Creative Suite is also good and available for Windows but works better on OSX. The Windows version actually looks like an OSX port. Though the nextgen CS4 64-bit will only be available for Windows. Macs will only get CS4 32-bit. Hence, many OSX users are artists historically. Emotion workers are generally not as good with computers as logic workers so OSX is good for them. Because OSX is less complicated and harder to mess up, a lot of computer newbies also use Macs and that’s why you see a lot of “Get a Mac! They are so awesome!” without any technical explanation to back up that opinion.

Mac Pros:

Mac Cons:

Windows PC Pros:
More customizable
More choices
More styles
Cheap hardware
Vista has best gaming capability (Direct3D 10)

Windows PC Cons:
Less stable (unless you are an IT pro)

polymer memory
Hi,I did the following:,In the blog: polym .

polymer memory–: good deal on macbook pro?
So i am looking for a macbook pro and ran across this one, i live in texas.

it was on craigslist under texas and so i thought it was a good deal, so i emailed her and she emailed me back saying now she was in ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway,here are the specs:

I am selling the 15″ Unibody MacBook Pro, with 2.66 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4 Gb memory, 320 Gb HD for $ 550 USD.
I hope you are still interested in buying it.
This Macbook Pro was ordered brand new directly from Apple on May 1st, 2009.
About the laptop I can say it is 9 Months old and it is in good shape, no scratches, no dents as you can see from the pics I’ve sent. Included in the $ 550 price is everything the laptop came with when it was new, including the original manuals and warranty papers. The laptop still has Applecare warranty until May 1st, 2010. The Applecare warranty is fully transferable to the new owner.
I tried to be a thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it.
I have used the laptop mostly for internet browsing and presentations, so I would say it has been only lightly used.
The laptop has the Snow Leopard 10.6 OS, the iLife 09 and the MS Office 2008 with the original recovery disks included.
One more thing, the laptop is an US version and it works on the US power and plug system so you do not need a converter to use it in the US
I just wanted to make sure you have all the specs for the laptop, the Apple 15.4″ Unibody MacBook Pro Laptop for $ 550.
The complete specs are below.2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4.0 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM Memory, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Graphics Processors with 512MB of GDDR3 Memory, 320GB SATA 5400 RPM Hard DriveAlso included is the Lithium-Polymer Battery and also the Apple Remote and Case.

See, she sent pictures and they looked real and it has apple i care until may, but i dont know if i would be comfortable never meeting this person and buying a computer from overseas!??

What do you thinK?
also, im not sure if its a scam cause she provided me her full name, address, phone number, and i think she works for some company called
airline warehouse???

Answer by star123compy
Anything overseas on Craigslist = INSTANT SCAM.

Answer by Anthony
that computer is worth at least 2K so that is way to good to be real.
