The Li-Polymers are a “safer” battery with most of the identical positive aspects of Li-ion. Li-ion has had some problems when mishandled, overcharged, or shorted the newer polymers lessen people issues. Here is a great article.

NO, lithium-ion polymer batteries are NOT a sort of lead-acid battery.
Adapter ?? I don’t understand what you want to charge with your Li-poly charger ??
Never ever charge a battery with a charger OTHER that the charger developed for it.
