About polymer memory,This blog is about polymer information .

Question–: Properties of BHCA {bis-(Hydroxymethylcyclohexane)-arylate}?
I need pointers to find properties of the Shape Memory Polymer
BHCA {bis-(Hydroxymethylcyclohexane)-arylate}.
I would be grateful if someone could give a reference to this polymer with its physical properties.

Q&A–: X220 6-cell battery first time charge?
I just got my Thinkpad X220, and it comes with a 6-cell Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery. Should I charge it for 12 hours and completely discharge it several times before really using it?

Apparently that has to be done in order to maximize the battery life or something. I thought that Li-Ion/Li-Polymer batteries didn’t have a memory effect?!?
